Visit the McNay Museum of Art

Originally built as a 24-room Spanish Colonial-Revival house in 1929 for Ohio-born heiress Marion Koogler McNay, this stunningly beautiful home would later be opened to the public in 1950 as the McNay Museum of Art – the first museum of modern art in Texas. The McNay Day Trip includes a guided tour of the core European and American collection, and a delicious Mexican lunch at the La Paloma Blanca restaurant. Senior University Art History Instructor Nancy Lilly will provide commentary.
