Visit the McNay Museum of Art

March 28, 2018 @ 8:30 am - 5:30 pm

McNay Art Museum

Originally built as a 24-room Spanish Colonial-Revival house in 1929 for Ohio-born heiress Marion Koogler McNay, this stunningly beautiful home would later be opened to the public in 1950 as the McNay Museum of Art – the first museum of modern art in Texas.  The McNay Day Trip includes a guided tour of the core European and American collection, and a delicious Mexican lunch at the La Paloma Blanca restaurant.  Senior University Art History Instructor Nancy Lilly will provide commentary.
